SACRED TRUST
Becoming Stewards of Heaven's Mysteries
"Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful." (1 Corinthians 4:1-2 KJV)
“So then you must perceive us—not as leaders of factions, but as servants of the Anointed One, those who have been entrusted with God’s mysteries. The most important quality of one entrusted with such secrets is that they are faithful and trustworthy.” (1 Corinthians 4:1-2 TPT)
My dear friend let me share something precious that the Lord is stirring in my spirit about these end times. He's raising up a different kind of leader – not those who seek stages or recognition, but those who carry the humble heart of a servant. These are His mature sons and daughters, His precious bride who has learned the sacred art of serving rather than being served.
Oh, beloved, can you sense the shifting in the spiritual atmosphere? The days of self-serving ministries are drawing to a close, for the Lord is searching for those who will take up the towel as Jesus did, those who will kneel down and wash the feet of others with such tender love. These are the ones to whom He will entrust the mysteries of His heart.
You see, when the Lord finds a vessel He can trust – one who prefers others above themselves, one who serves with pure love – He begins to download heavenly revelation. Like John the beloved who leaned his ear against the Master's chest, these faithful ones position themselves to hear heaven's heartbeat. Their own hearts begin to burn as His voice imparts the deeper things, the precious treasures from His throne room.
Beloved, there is a vast sea of deeper truth available to those who hunger for it. The deeper life, the deeper walk – these aren't just nice phrases, but reality for those who will pay the price of serving with pure hearts. The sweet Master is looking for those who will serve not for what they can get, but for love alone – to love as He loves.
Consider with me the tremendous privilege: to be entrusted with the very mysteries of God! But this trust comes only to those who have proven faithful in the small things, those who have learned to serve with joy whether anyone notices or not. These are the ones who catch His eye, who make His heart leap with delight.
The throne room holds secrets waiting to be revealed, precious treasures longing to be discovered. But they're not given casually or to those seeking personal gain. No, these mysteries are reserved for those whose hearts beat with pure love, whose hands are calloused from serving, whose knees are worn from praying.
Come, dear friend, make yourself available today. Let the Lord transform your heart into one that serves with abandon, that loves without condition, that prefers others naturally. For when your heart is pure, you shall see the Lord in ways you never imagined. He will open His heart and pour out His secrets like precious oil, filling you with treasures from His very throne.
The door to deeper revelation stands open. Will you enter? Will you let Him teach you the beauty of serving, the joy of preferring others, the privilege of washing feet? He's waiting to share His heart with those who will handle it with reverent care.
For truly, beloved, as we learn to serve with pure hearts, as we make ourselves available simply for love's sake, we position ourselves for an outpouring of heavenly mysteries that will transform not only our lives but the lives of those around us. The sweet Master is looking for faithful stewards – will you be one of them? Like precious jewels from heaven's treasury, He will place revelation after revelation into your faithful hands.
Let your heart cry out today, "Lord, make me faithful! Let me serve with pure love! Trust me with Your mysteries, not for my glory, but that I might pour them out as a love offering back to You!"
Come close, beloved, for the sweet Master is calling to those who will steward His mysteries with tender care. Can you hear His gentle invitation? "Who will I trust with the secrets of my heart?" He whispers. "Who will carry My love to a broken world?"
With Love,
Steve Porter
